💪 About the Opportunity

Zoom Recruitment is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our client – a respected, industry-leading manufacturer in steel reinforcing.

We have Day and Afternoon Shifts available, offering stable ongoing work, supportive management, and a strong focus on safety.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

Your day will include a mix of:

• Operating KRB, bending and folding machines
• Performing manual handling and general labouring tasks
• Crane and gantry operation (desirable but not essential)
• Combilift operation (training provided for the right candidate)
• Loading and unloading steel materials
• Safe use of hand and power tools
• General housekeeping and keeping your area tidy and safe

✅ What We’re Looking For

To be successful, you’ll bring:

• Previous machine operation experience (manufacturing, production or steel industry preferred)
• Crane or gantry experience – highly regarded
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good literacy and numeracy
• A solid safety-first attitude
• Physically fit – able to lift 20kg+
• Current driver’s licence and own transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Full working rights in Australia

⏰ Shift Times & Hours

Day Shift
🕕 Monday to Thursday: 5:50am – 2:00pm
🕕 Friday: 5:50am – 12:00pm

Afternoon Shift
🌙 Monday to Thursday: 1:50pm – 10:00pm
🌙 Friday: 11:50am – 6:00pm

💰 Overtime available as required.
