Belt Picker Forklift Operator

Overview

We are seeking a Belt Picker with a valid forklift license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for separating recyclable non-ferrous materials from conveyor belts and operating a forklift to transport materials within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Sort non-ferrous materials from conveyor belts
• Operate a forklift to transport materials within the facility
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
• Assist with other tasks as needed

  Qualifications

• Valid forklift license
• Experience as a belt picker or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of non-ferrous materials and recycling processes is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  Day-to-Day

• Sort non-ferrous materials from the conveyor belt
• Operate forklift to transport materials to designated areas
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
