About the Roles:
A number of opportunities currently exist in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and surrounding suburbs for bus drivers which offer great pay and conditions. Whether you have previous experience or are looking to commence a career in the commuter transport industry, this company offers comprehensive training programs designed to mentor you to success in this leading Australian transport company.   

As a Bus Driver, you will assist customers in reaching their destinations and meet their commitments by providing a safe and comfortable journey for commuters. Positions currently exist for those seeking either Full-time (38 hours), Part -time (20-30 hours) or casual positions (Minimum 4 hours).

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering a prompt and reliable transport service
• Carry out pre-departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
• Drive effectively and efficiently while ensuring passengers safety and comfort
• Identify, address and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behavior in the workplace
• Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies
• The responsibility of collecting correct fares, issuing tickets and checking passes
• Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records

Essential criteria:

• Have or willing to obtain a Heavy Vehicle driving licence (MR and above)
• Have or willing to obtain a NSW Bus Drivers Authority (DA)
• Have or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
• Provide your current RMS driving history
• Knowledge and understanding of Work, Health and Safety Practices
• Excellent customer service skills
• Have excellent communication skills
• Well presented with a positive, proactive approach 
• Australian permanent residency status
• Flexibility for split-shifts (Full-time positions)
