We’re looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Casual Transport Allocator at the recycling plant of one of Australia’s leading steel manufacturers, working Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, until March 2026.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating transport, managing daily jobs, and providing excellent service to both internal and external customers in a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and deliver excellent service
• Respond to emails promptly and professionally
• Book transport jobs into Wastedge (local database)
• Prepare and send daily run sheets using Excel
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP
• Support the transport and operations teams with day-to-day coordination tasks

Skills & Attributes

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience using Wastedge (or similar transport management systems) and SAP is required
• Confident using computers, Excel, and databases
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

What We Offer

• Casual role with consistent hours – Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (until March 2026)
• Base pay: $71,429 p.a. + super
