Control Room Operator

Zoom Recruitment has partnered with leading logistics service providers delivering solutions nationally and globally. They specialise in providing a comprehensive range of transport and logistics services.

We are currently seeking a Night shift Control Room Officer available for an immediate start, supporting high-profile transport and logistics clients based in Hazelmere.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Tracking shipments
• Monitoring driver fatigue and welfare
• Monitoring in-cab driver systems
• Backfreight and forward freight planning and execution in SAP
• Monitoring and alerting on potential local or regional risks
• Providing customer service support (freight tracking and responding to client queries)
• Completing data entry, reports, and record keeping
• Assisting with ad hoc transport administration duties, including checking driver runsheets and calculating hours for payroll

About You

• Previous experience in Logistics / Supply Chain / Warehouse (ESSENTIAL)
• Ability to work ongoing night shifts
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Office 365, SAP TM and Transport system
• Excellent time management skills
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
