Customer Service Officer / International Freight

Australian owned Forwarder based in Tullamarine that offer a range of end- to- end logistics services, are currently looking for additional staff to join their friendly Customer Service team.

About the job
Reporting to the National Manager – Orders, this role will involve servicing a variety of small to medium sized customers.  This person will have daily contact with customers organising both their Import and Export requirements. This position can be either a temp or perm role for someone. 

Responsibilities include;

  • Track and trace cargo movements
  • Status reporting and follow up with customers
  • Process and organised bookings
  • Liaise with overseas offices  / and agents

Skills & Experience
We are preferably looking for someone with approximately 2-3 years experience in Freight Forwarding either from Operations or Customer Service backgrounds.  Knowledge of Incoterms, EDI Cargowise 1 is highly regarded.
