About Our Client
  
Our client is a 100% Australian owned Freight Forwarder with offices located Nationally, as well as in S.E Asia and New Zealand. They specialize in providing integrated Supply Chain solutions including Forwarding, Customs and Warehousing.  

About the role

Our client currently has a requirement for an experienced Export Air & Sea operator to join their Forwarding team. Operating under a paperless system they are looking for people with excellent experience in a similar environment.
  
Responsibilities include:

• Checking shipping line website for sailing schedules
• Logging on to airline websites & checking tracking details
• Arranging bookings AIR & SEA, FCL & LCL, DG & Non DG
• Export registrations AIR & SEA, FCL & LCL, DG & Non DG
• Arranging cargo collection with transport companies
• Arranging container pick up & drop off
• Preparing export documentation AIR & SEA
• Dealing with colleagues within ITM to solve problems.
• Dealing with client queries

  
About you

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar cartage position dealing with a local Freight Forwarders
• Experience working with EDI Cargowise
