Forklift Driver

## Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials around our production facility. This role requires a keen attention to safety protocols and a strong understanding of warehouse operations.

## Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products around the production facility
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition
• Communicate with team members to coordinate material movements and ensure efficient operations
• Keep accurate records of material movement and inventory

  ## Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification and experience in operating a forklift in a production or warehouse setting
• Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to operate the forklift in a safe manner
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse team
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus

  ## Day-to-Day

• Operating the forklift to move materials as per orders
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure materials are in the right place at the right time
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition
• Communicating with supervisors and team members to coordinate material movements
• Maintaining accurate records of material movements and inventory
