Forklift Driver

Zoom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Store Person / Forklift Driver for our client, a proudly Australian-owned leader in manufacturing and supplying steel reinforcing products to the construction industry.

Location: Hobart
Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 20-25 hours per week (flexible shifts: 9 AM – 2 PM or 10 AM – 3 PM)
Progression: Increasing to full-time (38 hours per week) over the coming months
Pay Rate: $36 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift (minimum 2 years driving experience required)
• Loading and unloading trucks (sheet metal)
• Operating warehouse and production machinery (must be mechanically minded and understand machinery)
• Manual handling and general warehouse duties
• Ensuring high attention to detail and workplace safety
• Communicating effectively with team members

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid LF forklift license (minimum 2 years of experience)
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks

Pre-Employment Requirements:
Successful candidates will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
