Forklift Driver

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team. The Forklift Driver will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the recycling or production area. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. $39 per hour

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials and products within the recycling or production area
• Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, or other storage areas
• Inspect forklift and perform routine maintenance as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist with general recycling duties as needed

  Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification/license
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a recycling or production setting
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  Day-to-Day

• Operating forklift to transport materials
• Conducting routine maintenance checks on the forklift
• Collaborating with recycling team to ensure efficient operations
• Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines at all times
• Updating inventory records as materials are moved
