HR Tanker Driver – Hobart

$38.95 per hour | Ongoing Casual | Early Morning Starts | Monday to Friday

About the Company:

Our client is the leading supplier of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) across Australia and New Zealand, servicing a wide range of residential, commercial, and light industrial customers.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced HR Driver/Tanker Driver to join the team in Hobart. This is an ongoing casual position, operating Monday to Friday with start times between 5:00am and 7:00am, and 10-12 hour shifts seasonally.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering LPG to both residential and commercial customers.

Pay Rate:

$38.95 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Load LPG from the Hobart depot each morning
• Complete 20-30 deliveries per day to a range of customer locations
• Connect hose from the truck to customer tanks and follow strict safety procedures
• Fill customer tanks with LPG and finalise deliveries using a handheld device

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years experience driving HR trucks (more preferred)
• Dangerous Goods Licence (DG) or willingness to obtain one
• The client may cover the cost of the DG licence for suitable candidates
• Strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume delivery schedule

Additional Information:

• Candidate must provide a Transport Tasmania demerit points report

• Candidates must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment and provide a valid Police Check
• Work days vary seasonally – typically 3 days/week in summer, increasing to 6 days/week in winter
