HR Truck Driver

We’re currently seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver for a national supplier of industrial gases, welding equipment and safety products based in Spearwood, WA. This position involves welding equipment delivery work, servicing domestic and commercial customers across the Perth region.

About the role

• Hours: 38 hours per week
• Roster: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
• Start: ASAP

You’ll be:

• Mainly operating a smaller flatbed truck and occasionally operating an HR vehicle for deliveries of welding equipment and machinery around the Perth metro area
• Using a forklift to move products and load trucks
• Conducting pre-start and end-of-day vehicle inspections
• Handling load restraint, throwing straps, and securing freight
• General warehouse duties and picking for customer orders
• Providing friendly, professional service to customers
• Reporting defects, compliance issues, and delivery updates to the depot team
• Working safely at all times in line with company and legislative requirements

What you’ll need

• Current HR Driver’s Licence and clean driving record
• Minimum 1 year HR driving experience
• LF licence and forklift experience
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role including repetitive manual handling tasks such as throwing straps, load restraint and heavy lifting
• Ability to pass a full medical assessment, including drug & alcohol screening and a physical capacity test
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Team-oriented, reliable, and safety conscious
• Full working rights in Australia

This is a temporary casual position with full-time hours and long-term potential for the right person. You’ll work with a professional, well-organised transport operation that values safety, teamwork, and service quality.
