HR Truck Driver – LPG & Cylinder Deliveries

We’re currently seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver for a national gas and energy supplier based at their Darwin depot. This position involves both bulk LPG tanker and cylinder delivery work, servicing domestic and commercial customers across the Darwin region.

About the role

• Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Additional: Overtime and some weekend work during peak periods
• Start: ASAP

You’ll be:

• Operating an HR vehicle for LPG and cylinder deliveries around the Darwin metro area
• Completing general yard and depot duties approximately one day per week
• Conducting pre-start and end-of-day vehicle inspections
• Handling cylinders with care and following correct load restraint procedures
• Filling cylinders and maintaining accurate delivery documentation
• Providing friendly, professional service to customers on-site
• Reporting defects, compliance issues, and delivery updates to the depot team
• Working safely at all times in line with company and legislative requirements

What you’ll need

• Current HR Driver’s Licence and clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years’ HR driving experience
• Dangerous Goods Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a full medical assessment, including drug & alcohol screening and a physical capacity test
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Team-oriented, reliable, and safety conscious
• Full working rights in Australia
