HR Truck Drivers – Multi-Drop & Manual Unloading

About the Client

Our client is a well-established national beverage logistics and distribution operation, completing high-volume deliveries to retail, hospitality and commercial customers across metropolitan Melbourne.

They are currently seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join their route delivery team. This is a hands-on multi-drop role involving both driving and repetitive manual unloading throughout the day.

Start Time: 5:30am
Average Shift: Approximately 8 to 12 hours
Pay Rate: $40.22 per hour + Overtime + Super

Key Duties

• Completing multi-drop beverage deliveries across Melbourne metro
• Driving HR trucks across allocated delivery routes
• Completing approximately 20 to 30 customer drops depending on the run
• Conducting vehicle pre-start checks before departure
• Reviewing delivery runs and checking loads prior to leaving site
• Breaking down mixed pallets to locate customer orders
• Manually unloading beverage cases from the truck
• Using delivery trolleys to move stock into customer locations
• Completing deliveries to service stations, food outlets, hospitality venues and other customers
• Processing returns, damaged stock and undelivered products
• Using company phones, electronic run sheets and delivery systems
• Providing professional customer service at each delivery location

About You

We’re looking for experienced HR drivers who are comfortable combining driving with regular manual handling and customer deliveries.

This is not a driving-only role, so candidates must be comfortable completing repetitive physical work throughout the shift.

Previous experience in any of the following would be highly regarded:

• HR truck driving
• Multi-drop delivery work
• Beverage, food or FMCG distribution
• Customer-facing delivery driving
• Metro delivery routes
• Manual unloading and trolley work

You will also:

• Hold a current HR licence or above
• Be confident operating HR rigid trucks
• Be comfortable with repetitive manual unloading up to 16kgs
• Be comfortable working independently across Melbourne metro
• Have good attention to detail when checking products and quantities
• Be confident using mobile phones and electronic delivery systems
• Be reliable and punctual for early morning starts
• Have a strong commitment to safety
• Be comfortable working approximately 8 to 12-hour shifts
