Jig Operators & Pick Packers – Timber Industry

About the Role
Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking motivated individuals to join a well-established Australian business in the timber industry. We have multiple opportunities available for Jig Operators and Pick Packers across both day and afternoon shifts.

What You’ll Be Doing

Jig Operator

• Operate timber machinery and saws
• Carry out manual handling tasks
• Use hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

Pick Packer

• Pick and pack timber products and timber sheets
• Load trucks and vehicles manually
• Read and interpret paper pick sheets
• Operate forklifts (if licensed)

Shift Times

• Day Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm (Mon-Fri)
• Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm (Mon-Fri)
• Saturday overtime available when required

What We’re Looking For

• Physically fit and able to perform manual work
• Full-time working rights in Australia
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• No prior timber experience required – full training provided
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
• Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
