Machine Operator – Steel Tubing Manufacturing

Location: Acacia Ridge

Shift Pattern: Rotating roster – 12-hour shifts

Day shift: 0600-1800

Night shift: 1800-0600

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators to join our steel tubing manufacturing operations. This role involves operating production machinery, monitoring quality, and ensuring safe and efficient production across a rotating 12-hour shift roster. Candidates must be available to work both day and night shifts.

Full training will be provided; however, previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor steel tubing production machinery

Perform basic machine set-up, adjustments, and troubleshooting

Conduct routine quality checks to ensure product specifications are met

Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Accurately complete production and quality documentation

Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

Skills & Experience

Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour roster, including nights

Good communication and teamwork skills

Requirements

Must be available for both day and night shifts

Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, including physical assessment

Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
