Zoom Recruitment are currently seeking experienced and motivated Machine Operators and Warehouse Storepersons to join our client’s busy Steelforce site in Horningsea Park. These roles offer ongoing opportunities on both day and afternoon shifts within a well-established steel processing operation.

Machine Operator – Steel Processing

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate steel cutting bandsaw and Beamline cutting/drilling machines
• Set up machines for accurate cutting and drilling of steel beams
• Use an overhead gantry crane to load and unload steel beams
• Pack and prepare completed orders for dispatch
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail and confidence working with heavy steel products.

Warehouse Storeperson – Steel Products

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate an overhead gantry crane to pick beams and tubular steel products
• Bundle and prepare steel items for dispatch
• Unload incoming trucks and complete put-aways
• Maintain stock accuracy and safe handling procedures

About You

• Experience operating an overhead gantry crane (highly desirable)
• Knowledge of structural steel products (beams and tubular steel) preferred
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable with a solid work ethic
