About The Role:            
The role is for a Machine Operator / Warehouse Assistant. Whilst previous experience in a similar is highly advantageous, the company will provide training as they are more focused on hiring someone with the right attitude and values that they look for in an employee.
The purpose of the role is to support sales operations through the efficient staging, slitting, spooling, picking, packing and despatch of customer orders in a timely fashion.  
  
Key Responsibilities and Performance Indicators:

• Machine operations on slitting machines, packing machines, core cutters and any other machines as required.
• Pick & pre-stage jumbo stock for machine operations as required.
• Process all customer orders in a timely efficient manner to a high standard of quality in line with the daily production schedule.
• Follow standard warehouse procedures to pick, pack, and despatch customer orders.
• Liaise with and book courier & freight services where required.
• Assist with customer orders as per their instructions for despatch or delivery as required.
• Support the Operations Supervisor where required & during annual leave periods.
• Deliver goods to customers where required
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and work environment.
• Always work in a safe manner and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety procedures.
• Perform regular stock counts and stocktake as required.
• Any other tasks as required to assist in the smooth operation of the process.

  
Required Skills:

• Must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
• Working level computer skills
• SAP experience advantageous
• Able to work independently & diligently, and follow instructions & work processes
• Forklift licence desirable
• Drivers licence essential  
• Good customer service focus and ability to multi task.
• Reliable, flexible team player, ready and eager to assist as required.
