We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their teams in Recycling, ARC, and Mesh departments. Available Roles & Pay Rates:

  • Mechanical Fitter – Recycling Laverton (Night Shift)
    • Shift: Monday to Friday, Night Shift
    • Pay Rate: $66/hr
    • Type: Permanent

  • Mechanical Fitter – ARC Sunshine (Afternoon Shift)
    • Shift: Monday to Friday, Afternoon Shift
    • Pay Rate: $75/hr
    • Type: Casual

  • Mechanical Fitter – Mesh Sushine (Night Shift)
    • Shift: Monday to Friday, Night Shift
    • Pay Rate: $85/hr
    • Type: Casual

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems
    • Operating MIG, ARC, and Oxy-acetylene welding equipment
    • Machining experience with lathe, mill, drill
    • Maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical failures to minimize downtime
    • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Trade-qualified Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter
    • Experience in heavy industrial environments
    • MIG, ARC, and Oxy-acetylene welding expertise
    • Machining experience – lathe, mill, drill
    • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Forklift and EWP licences (must have)
    • Australian citizen or permanent resident (must have)
    • Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
    • A commitment to safety and operational excellence
