We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their teams in Recycling, ARC, and Mesh departments. Available Roles & Pay Rates:
- Shift: Monday to Friday, Night Shift
- Pay Rate: $66/hr
- Type: Permanent
- Shift: Monday to Friday, Afternoon Shift
- Pay Rate: $75/hr
- Type: Casual
- Shift: Monday to Friday, Night Shift
- Pay Rate: $85/hr
- Type: Casual
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Performing preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems
- Operating MIG, ARC, and Oxy-acetylene welding equipment
- Machining experience with lathe, mill, drill
- Maintaining and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical failures to minimize downtime
- Ensuring adherence to safety standards and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Trade-qualified Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter
- Experience in heavy industrial environments
- MIG, ARC, and Oxy-acetylene welding expertise
- Machining experience – lathe, mill, drill
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Forklift and EWP licences (must have)
- Australian citizen or permanent resident (must have)
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A commitment to safety and operational excellence
