Job Opportunity: MR Tanker Driver – Orange

Are you a reliable and experienced MR Tanker Driver with a strong commitment to safety ? We’re looking for a dedicated driver to join our team in Orange on an ongoing basis. If you have a valid MR Licence, and a passion for ensuring the safe delivery of LPG, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

  • Location: Orange
  • Pay Rate: $38.41/hr
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required. Early starts from 4-6am
  • Position Type: Casual Ongoing with Full Time hours, temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow a scheduled route to make timely deliveries of LPG cylinders.
  • Ensure correct connection and testing of LPG cylinders to maintain customer supply.
  • Keep the truck in top condition, performing daily pre and post-journey inspections and reporting any defects immediately.
  • Abide by all State and National regulations, including Driving Hours and BFM compliance.
  • Handle LPG deliveries with care, following safe handling procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor with both staff and customers.
  • Report potential new customer leads or requirements to management.
  • Ensure LPG cylinders are loaded correctly in line with NTC Load Restraint Guidelines.
  • Continuously adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a valid MR Licence and a Clean Police Check.
  • Minimum of 1 year of MR tanker driving experience.
  • Two professional work references.
  • Ability to provide a driving history report.
  • Willingness to obtain a Dangerous Goods Licence (if not already held).
