Operator

Zoom Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple roles within Steel Recycling based in Port Adelaide, Recruiting for a day shift picker and operator these could be the role for you.

Picker Role

Duties Include:

• Picking steel materials from a conveyor belt.
• General manual handling tasks.
• Performing general cleaning duties to maintain a safe work environment.

Shift Times:

• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM + Overtime (Monday to Friday)

Operator Role

Duties Include:

• Operating forklifts (must hold a valid license).
• Sorting and organizing different types of steel materials.
• General manual handling and housekeeping tasks.
• Building and stacking pallets as required.

Shift Times:

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM + Overtime when required (Monday to Friday)

Successful Candidates Require

• Successful candidates will need:
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment manual handling assessment.
• Prior experience in recycling (highly desirable).
• A valid forklift license (mandatory for Operator role)
• Strong Safety Focus
