About Our Client
Our client is a global manufacturing company and market leader in their field. We are working on their behalf to recruit experienced Production Operators for their chemical manufacturing operation in St Peters, Sydney.

About The Role
In your role you will work across various areas from machine operation to filling and packaging of finished products.
You will be responsible for batch manufacturing which includes mixing of raw materials for production, inspecting and ensuring quality, labeling and packing of finished products and placement on to pallets in a required time frame as well as keeping your work area clean daily.
Your role is for a full-time position Mon-Fri, 7am-3.30pm, you may also be required to work overtime or on weekends.
General maintenance and cleaning will also be required around the manufacturing facility.

Key Duties & Candidate Requirements:

• Experience following formulation or batch cards to achieve specified production schedules.
• Good communication skills
• Enjoy working within in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to new challenges
• Experience in a manufacturing, processing or production environment, chemical or powder experience will be highly desirable.
• Monitor equipment during the production process to ensure that they are operating smoothly, and efficiently, identifying issues as they arise.
• Quality control duties including collecting samples for testing.
• A current forklift license.
• Must be physically fit and can lift safely up to 25kgs.
• Effective communication and teamwork ability.
• Positive attitude to OH&S.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping, ensuring work areas are organised, tidy and free from hazards.
