Production Operator

We are excited to expand our team in Wetherill Park, and we’re looking for dedicated Cylinder Maintenance Operators to join our growing workforce. This vital role involves the careful filling, handling, and testing of cylinders, ensuring compliance with stringent quality and safety standards. • Prime Location: Located in Wetherill Park, this role is easily accessible by public transport, making your commute more convenient.
• Ongoing Work with Rotating Roster: Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule with stable, ongoing work. During your 6-week training period, shifts are from 5am to 1:30pm. After training, you’ll transition to a weekly rotating roster that includes both day and afternoon shifts (5am and 1:30pm starts).
• Competitive Pay: Earn up to $36.00 per hour for day shifts and $41.40 per hour for afternoon shifts.

• Manual Handling & Cylinder Filling: Safely and precisely handle medical cylinders, ensuring they are filled to the highest standards.
• Gas Order Preparation & Dispatch: Carefully prepare and dispatch customer gas orders, meeting tight deadlines.
• Cylinder Maintenance & Safety Compliance: Maintain cylinders and ensure they meet operational safety and industry standards.
• Forklift Operation: After training, you’ll operate a forklift to support production tasks and boost overall efficiency.
• Quality Checks: Conduct thorough checks to ensure all cylinders meet quality requirements before dispatch.

• Physical Fitness: The role requires manual handling, so good physical condition is essential.
• Forklift License: A valid counterbalance forklift license and prior experience in forklift operation is essential.
• Safety Commitment: A strong commitment to working safely, following safety guidelines at all times.
• Background Check: Willingness to undergo medical, drug & alcohol testing and a police check.
• Flexibility: Must be open to working a rotating roster, including both day and afternoon shifts.
