Production Operators

Location: Preston, VIC
Pay Rate: $39.00/hour + Super (with a pay review after 3 months)
Hours: 45 hours/week – 1-hour paid lunch daily
Shift: Day shift – starts at 5:00am

Zoom Recruitment is seeking a Production All-Rounder with a valid Forklift License to join a leading Gas & LPG company in Preston.
This is a hands-on, ongoing opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct production work in line with company procedures
• Inspect, fill, reject, or condemn gas cylinders as needed
• Maintain accurate cylinder test and inspection records
• Operate across multiple production areas as required
• Handle and package liquid and solid Carbon Dioxide
• Operate refrigerant recovery and filling systems
• Pick and prepare customer gas orders for dispatch
• Safely load vehicles and operate forklifts
• Fill medical and industrial gas cylinders to specification
• Identify and label rejected cylinders clearly and accurately
• Assist with maintenance tasks and general housekeeping

What You’ll Need:

• Current Forklift Operator’s Licence
• Physically fit and safety conscious
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial setting
• Previous exposure to gas or chemical handling
• Experience with team dynamics or leadership
• Understanding of GMP for medicinal products (preferred but not essential)

Recruitment requirements

• Undergo and pass drug and alcohol testing
• Have current police check or willing to obtain
