$47.46/hr + 16% Super + Income Protection
Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm | Overtime Available

Our client, a recognised leader in steel manufacturing and recycling, is seeking a qualified Boilermaker for an ongoing temporary role with strong potential for permanent employment. Based at their Laverton North facility, this position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing operation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Interpret technical drawings and plans for accurate fabrication and assembly
* Use MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques on materials such as steel and alloy, as well as oxy cutting and gouging
* Perform routine and breakdown maintenance to support continuous production
* Conduct structural fabrication, welding, and repairs on plant equipment and infrastructure
* Maintain chutes, hoppers, conveyors, and other heavy steel components to support plant reliability
* Ensure a clean, safe, and organised workspace in compliance with OH&S standards

What You’ll Bring:
* Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker)
* Experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
* Advanced welding and metalwork skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols
* Comfortable working in dusty, dirty environments and exposed outdoor conditions
* Additional tickets (forklift, overhead crane, confined space, working at heights) advantageous
* Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
* Recommended for fit and strong individuals due to manual lifting and physical demands
