Reliability Engineer
Our client, a major leading Energy Infrastructure Company is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join their Networks Division on a full-time, Temporary basis. This 12-month contract has the potential to extend through to 2026.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Team Lead – Maintenance Strategy, you’ll be responsible for enhancing asset reliability across multiple states (QLD, SA, VIC), focusing on critical equipment within the network.
This role will involve operations support, critical analysis, stakeholder engagement, and implementation of maintenance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct FMECA and risk-based investigations (RBI)
- Build and trial job plans
- Identify and close performance gaps in equipment reliability
- Work closely with operations to determine and implement best practices
- Lead and document structured reliability assessments
- Support a data-poor environment with structured investigations and change implementation
- Travel to sites as needed to assess equipment and build stakeholder relationships
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 5+ years of experience in a reliability engineering role
- Strong experience with FMECA, RBI, and job plan development
- Knowledge of Maximo and Excel
- Exposure to gas operations highly desirable
- Proven ability to implement and manage change
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage across all levels
- Resilient, collaborative, and open to stakeholder feedback
