Storeperson – Steel Supplies

We are seeking motivated and customer service-focused individuals to join our team in the role of Steel Sales/Storeperson. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack steel orders, operating the band saw and gantry crane after training
• Load and unload trucks using an overhead gantry crane
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintain a strong focus on safety in all tasks
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
• Assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required
• Forklift license is preferred but not essential
• Strong customer service skills
• Safety conscious and aware of best practices in a warehouse setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills Day-to-Day
• Work the day shift from 7am-3pm, Monday to Friday
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders and meet delivery deadlines
• Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
• Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed
• Maintain a positive and proactive attitude to contribute to a productive work environment
