Technical Officer
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, coordinate, and carry out the daily workload efficiently & effectively within the Technical Workshop and designated areas of responsibility.
- Perform the servicing and repairs of all Medical Rental Equipment in accordance to Linde guidelines, manufacturers’ specifications & regulatory bodies. Perform relevant SAP and data entry daily as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment with good housekeeping techniques in administration, technical work areas, and warehousing. At all times maintaining a high level of personal appearance and presentation.
- Monitor all Medical Rental Equipment that is held by our customers and ensure that it is maintained as per Linde guidelines & procedures.
- Only if requested – coordinate and perform servicing/exchanges to ensure that we maximise efficiencies & in line with manufactures recommendations – Maintain service trips – Traveling throughout metro & regional areas as required and maintaining database. BOC will provide a vehicle if a field trip is required.
- Ensure agreed service level is maintained as per KPI requirement.
- Monitor and maintain all Medical Rental Equipment & Consumable stock levels within the workshop & warehouse area. Perform relevant SAP and data entry daily as required to ensure that stock accuracy is maintained at all times
- General Data Entry to be performed daily
- Conduct monthly stock-takes of all inventoried items.
- Maintain a high level of communication with the HTSP & Gas and Gear network, provide Homecare technical and procedural support, via face-to-face meetings, phone & email, ie, site stock-take, training, inventory & scanning
- Monitor & maintain the state supply chain of all medical rental equipment throughout the HTSP & Gas and Gear network to gain the highest possible stock utilisation of Homecare Equipment.
- Assist with functions relevant to the receipt & despatch of goods (SAP inward & outward goods , organise couriers, assist with load and Unloading vehicles)
- Proactively ensure that all relevant SAP & ICC anomalies including VT’s are identified and rectified
- Work collaboratively with Customer Service and with other TSO personnel to deliver a high level of service to our customers.
- Ensure training requirements are kept up to date. Rg: Traccess / Elevate
- At all times, maintaining a focus on individual PMP goals.
- Attend site Toolbox meetings, regional communications meetings and HSC Communications meetings as required. Any incidents to be reported to the Homecare Team Leader immediately
