Our Client is a leading logistics company based in Melbourne’s West who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Allocator to join the team at their Laverton site.

The role

As a Allocator, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing time slots ensuring the smooth operation of the business and excellent service delivery.

Hourly Rate: Day $46.35 per hour + Overtime, Afternoon $52.84

Dayshift with 5am-6am start. Afternoon shift 1pm-2pm start

Your responsibilities will include.

• Allocations for a fleet of 70 trucks
• Updating customer bookings and delivery schedules
• Collating and accurately recording customer job details and information
• Entering and reviewing information in in-house systems
• Proactively communicating with clients about any potential disruptions to operations
• Monitoring and communicating delays to clients by liaising with the fleet
• Ensuring all operations comply with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements for safety
• This role will be a casual ongoing role with the opportunity to go full time.

The successful candidate will possess

• A minimum of 2 years recent experience in a similar role
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with drivers and customers
