Transport Scheduler

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Transport Scheduler to join our team. The Transport Scheduler plays a crucial role in coordinating the daily/weekly transportation schedules of bulk and packaged products. This individual will need to ensure adherence to safety standards while optimizing routes and effectively communicating with delivery drivers and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Use scheduling tools to develop daily/weekly transport schedules of bulk and packaged products
• Monitor and ensure adherence to safety standards in transportation operations
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Analyze data to optimize transportation routes and improve efficiency
• Manage time effectively to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure customer satisfaction
• Utilize strong Microsoft Excel skills to organize and analyze transportation data with precision

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transportation scheduling and logistics coordination
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in using scheduling tools and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Day-to-Day

• Develop and finalize daily/weekly transport schedules using scheduling tools
• Monitor and ensure adherence to safety standards in all transportation operations
• Communicate with delivery drivers and customers to coordinate timely and accurate deliveries
• Analyze transportation data to optimize routes and enhance efficiency
• Manage time effectively to meet KPIs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Utilize Microsoft Excel skills to organize and analyze transportation data with precision
