About the Company
Our client is a national supplier of specialised building materials focused on providing innovative products and systems to the Australian residential construction market.
They offer cost-effective solutions and deliver high-performance, compliant products that save time and money by simplifying the installation process and reducing the need for specialized trades.
Due to growth and expansion, they are looking for an experienced Warehouse All-rounder to join their small and friendly team.

About the Role
This is a permanent role. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate logistics and warehouse functions for our Queensland office.
  • Pick and pack orders.
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and delivery inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work with and support the sales team to ensure a seamless order process for customers.
  • Use the internal system to fulfil customer orders and manage order processing.
  • Assist in the coordination of customer/supplier local freight, national freight, and sea-freight with freight companies, including receiving and dispatching stock.
  • Help resolve any arising warehouse problems or complaints.
  • Comply with OH&S standards within the warehouse.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar Warehouse 2IC or Coordinator role is essential.
  • Previous experience in coordinating staff is essential.
  • Ability to work both on the floor and behind a desk, and lead by example.
  • Excellent customer service skills – handling incoming calls and emails.
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Forklift license is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering solutions.
