Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Combo Operator to join our team, specializing in operating combo machinery for residential building projects. As a Combo Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring safety and efficiency while working with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8-tonne combo machine to perform tasks such as digging trenches around live services in residential building projects.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and safely.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Uphold safety standards and procedures to create a safe work environment, particularly when working around live services.
• Participate in general labour tasks as required, demonstrating a team-player attitude and adaptability.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to report on progress and address any potential issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Combo Machine Operator with skills in operating an 8t combo machine.
• Possession of a White Card, RII Excavator, and RII Skid Steer tickets.
• Previous experience working around live services in construction settings.
• Strong commitment to work and ability to attend work 5 days per week on a consistent basis.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and development within the role.
• Demonstrates respect and sensitivity towards cultural differences and promotes a respectful workplace for all.
