About Our Client

Our client provides customised power generation and energy storage systems for various industries, including mining, construction, and utilities. 
Their solutions focus on offering efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy systems, integrating technologies such as diesel, gas and hybrid generators to meet specific customer needs. 

About The Role

Join our clients team as a Technician to support the assembly, testing, installation, and servicing of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and related products. You will provide technical support to customers and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

As a Commissioning Electrician, you will:

– Assemble, test, diagnose, repair, and install energy solutions products, including control and auxiliary systems.
– Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and complete relevant documentation.
– Provide technical support to customers and internal branches.
– Collaborate with Project Managers and other team members to ensure project success.
– Mentor technicians and enhance commissioning capabilities.
– Travel frequently to customer sites.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

– Relevant Electrical Trade Qualification and full QLD Electrical Worker License.
– Solid experience in electrical diagnostics, installation, and commissioning of complex systems.
– Knowledge of power systems, controls, and instrumentation.
– Experience in power generation, microgrids, or renewable energy preferred.
– Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills.
– Commitment to quality and customer service.
– Understanding of Quality Assurance and HSE systems.
