Zoom Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading organisation to recruit experienced Credit Risk Analysts. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to play a key role in assessing credit risk, supporting business growth, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

About the role:
As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing customer creditworthiness, managing risk exposure, and providing high-quality insights and recommendations to minimise credit losses while supporting commercial outcomes. You will act as a key point of contact for credit assessments, limit reviews, and portfolio monitoring.

Key responsibilities:

Credit Analysis & Risk Assessment:

  • Analyse financial statements and conduct detailed credit assessments (including profitability, cash flow, and capital structure)
  • Assess and determine appropriate credit limits and terms for new and existing customers
  • Identify and evaluate risks across transactions, products, and customer portfolios
  • Monitor credit exposure, investigate limit breaches, and highlight early warning signs
  • Conduct portfolio reviews, covenant checks, and ongoing risk monitoring
  • Prepare clear, concise credit reports and recommendations for management

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to gain a strong understanding of business operations and risks
  • Attend meetings, briefings, and engage with clients where required
  • Support the Credit Risk Manager and contribute to team objectives

Compliance & Process Improvement:

  • Ensure all credit decisions align with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
  • Assist in implementing process improvements within the credit function
  • Monitor industry trends, client performance, and emerging risks

About you:

  • Proven experience in a Credit Risk / Credit Analyst role
  • Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, Risk, or a related field (preferred)
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
