Casual | $35/hr + Super | Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Zoom Recruitment is now hiring a Customer Service & Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Elgas in Mildura.

This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys a mix of customer interaction and warehouse work. One moment you’ll be helping a customer at the counter, the next you’ll be out back moving gas bottles, refilling stock, or loading a delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Helping customers find the right product with friendly advice and solutions
• Carrying out manual handling tasks in office and depot environments
• Refilling and restocking cylinders in the depot
• Operating the till and EFTPOS for in-store purchases
• Responding to enquiries and turning issues into positive experiences
• Keeping the store and warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised
• Working closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse, labouring, retail, or customer-facing roles
• Sales experience would be an advantage
• Physically fit and ready to lift, move, and roll gas bottles
• Great communication skills and the ability to be a team player
• Forklift license a big plus (or willing to get one!)
• Basic computer skills for processing sales
• Can pass a police check and willing to attend a pre-employment medical
• Welding knowledge is a bonus-but not essential. If you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll teach you the rest.
