$35.00 per hour + Super | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Mildura

Zoom Recruitment is seeking a Customer Service & Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Elgas in Mildura. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on warehouse work with providing outstanding customer service.

One moment you’ll be assisting customers at the counter, and the next you’ll be working in the depot refilling cylinders, loading deliveries, or keeping stock organised. If you enjoy variety, teamwork, and staying active throughout the day, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As part of the Elgas team, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service and assist customers with product enquiries
• Process in-store sales using the till and EFTPOS
• Refill and restock LPG cylinders within the depot
• Perform manual handling tasks across the warehouse and retail areas
• Load and unload cylinders and prepare deliveries
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workplace
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Resolve customer enquiries with a positive, solutions-focused approach

About You

• We’re looking for someone who is reliable, and enjoys working with both customers and teammates.

• Experience in warehouse, labouring, retail, or customer service roles
• Previous sales experience (highly regarded)
• Good physical fitness and the ability to safely lift, move, and roll gas cylinders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills for processing sales and customer transactions
• A current Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one (advantageous)
• A current National Police Check (within six months) or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical
• Welding knowledge (desirable but not essential)
