The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators to join the team at the Laverton recycling yard. This is a hands-on role suited to operators confident working in fast-paced environments, handling materials and supporting day-to-day yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to load, sort, and move scrap materials
• Operate forklifts around the yard (LF licence required)
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
• Support general yard duties and material handling
• Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth site operations

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Excavator ticket (essential)
• LF Forklift Licence (mandatory)
• Previous experience in recycling, scrap yard, or similar environments
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident
