Pay Rate: $38.31 – $50.00 per hour + applicable shift loadings

Zoom Recruitment is hiring experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for seasonal opportunities in Sunshine West.

We have limited positions available across each shift, so don’t wait to apply. Once positions are filled, recruitment for that shift may close.

The Opportunity

These seasonal roles are expected to commence from 12 October through November 2026, with most assignments running through to approximately 18 December 2026.

There may also be opportunities for ongoing work for the right fit, depending on performance, reliability and operational requirements.

Some positions may also have the opportunity to return for additional work between 29 December 2026 and 15 January 2027.

Available Shifts

5:00am – 10:00am

5:00am – 12:51pm

6:15am – 2:06pm

1:00pm – 8:51pm

2:00pm – 9:51pm

9:00pm – 4:51am

10:00pm – 5:51am

The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for:

Loading and unloading trucks, vans, cages, pallets and containers

Moving mail and parcels safely throughout the facility

Operating a counterbalance forklift in tight and confined working spaces

Loading and unloading Unit Loading Devices (ULDs)

Using pallet jacks, stackers and other load-shifting equipment

Supporting warehouse and parcel processing operations

Working closely with the operations team

Following all safety and compliance procedures

What We’re Looking For

Experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers

Valid LF Forklift Licence

Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in tight and confined spaces is essential

Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a forklift in busy, high-traffic areas

Previous forklift experience in a warehouse, logistics or similar environment

Strong safety awareness

Reliable and punctual

Good attention to detail

Comfortable with physical work and regularly lifting up to 16kg

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Able to follow safety, compliance and operational procedures

Comfortable handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products

Police Check completed within the last 6 months, or willing to obtain one

Pay Rates

$38.31 – $50.00 per hour + applicable shift loadings

AM: $38.31 + 15% loading

PM: $38.31 + 15% loading

Night Shift: $38.31 + 30% loading

Junior rates apply to applicants under 21 years of age.
