Forklift Driver – Mail Officer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team and operate forklifts in the docks area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forklift operations

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, including loading and unloading of materials and products
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating forklifts and working in the docks area
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or issues
  • Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Australian Forklift Licence
  • Minimum of 8 months experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or dock environment
  • Ability to provide a recent Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
  • Experience with rotating tynes is advantageous but not required

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
