Forklift Operator – Scrap Metal Recycling Yard

We’re looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our busy scrap metal recycling yard in West Burleigh. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who’s comfortable working outdoors and enjoys physical work.

About the Role

Operating forklifts to load, unload, and move scrap metal

Sorting and handling various scrap materials

Assisting with yard operations and general labour duties

Working safely in a fast-paced industrial environment

What We’re Looking For

Valid Forklift Licence (LF) – essential

Experience in scrap metal, recycling, or industrial yards (preferred but not required)

Strong safety awareness and work ethic

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
