Freight Handler – Brisbane Airport

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Freight Handlers to join our team based at Brisbane Airport. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced logistics environment with flexible shifts and competitive pay rates.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for handling and processing freight within a quarantined area, ensuring parcels are sorted, scanned, and prepared efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Freight handling and manual lifting

Parcel sorting and scanning

Working within a quarantined processing area

Following strict safety and operational procedures

Shift Options:

We offer a variety of shifts to suit different availabilities:

6:00 AM start

10:30 AM start

2:00 PM start

6:00 PM start

Shift lengths range from 5 to 8 hours depending on operational requirements and freight volume.

Pay Rates:

$41 – $47 per hour (depending on shift and penalties)

Requirements:

Valid Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)

Ability to work in a physically demanding role

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Ability to work in a team environment

Eligibility:

Open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and visa holders

Working Holiday Visa and Student Visa applicants are encouraged to apply
