Pay & Benefits

• $46.00 per hour – Day Shift
• Applicants must be 20 years of age or older to be eligible for this pay rate.

Key Responsibilities

As a Freight Handler, you will be responsible for safely loading, unloading, sorting and preparing freight for transport while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Your duties will include:

• Securely loading trailers using brick-stacking techniques from wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling.
• Correctly boarding trailers at designated loading stages using load boards and pogo bars.
• Breaking down pallets and inducting freight onto conveyor systems with labels facing upwards.
• Maintaining continuous freight flow to achieve operational KPIs.
• Following all manual handling procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintaining a safe exclusion zone around forklifts and mobile equipment.
• Reporting damaged freight and completing minor repairs where appropriate.
• Supporting housekeeping and downtime activities to maintain operational efficiency.

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Forklift Licence (LF) is advantageous.
• Pre-Employment Requirements
• Successful applicants must be able to:
• Provide a National Police Check issued within the last six (6) months.
• Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment Medical Assessment.
• Have full Australian working rights.
