We’re gearing up for a busy peak season at Brisbane Airport and are looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our team as Freight Handlers and Forklift Operators.

Available Shifts & Pay Rates

0600 start – $42 per hour

1400 start – $48 per hour

0000 (midnight) start – $52 per hour

Minimum shift length: 4 hours

Induction commencing 2nd November 2026

About the Role

As a Freight Handler, you’ll play an important role in keeping freight moving efficiently through Brisbane Airport. Duties may include:

Loading and unloading freight

Sorting and handling cargo

Moving freight safely and efficiently

Operating forklifts where qualified

Following workplace health and safety procedures

Working as part of a team in a fast-paced airport environment

What You’ll Need

To be considered for these roles, you’ll need:

A police clearance dated within the last 3 months- with no disclosable court outcomes

Steel-capped safety boots – mandatory PPE

A reliable and safety-focused approach to work

The ability to work physically and efficiently in a busy environment

Forklift opportunities are available for candidates with the appropriate licence and experience
