Front Counter – Sales Representative

Overview

We are seeking a customer focused forklift operator to join our team. As a Gas & Gear Representative will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling front counter sales, preparing orders, and reconciling stock. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service or welding environments and possess strong communication and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front counter and over the phone
• Process sales transactions and prepare orders for customers
• Utilize SAP system to manage inventory and process orders
• Maintain and reconcile stock levels to ensure accurate inventory
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with forklift operations and other dock tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in front counter sales and customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of SAP system is highly regarded
• Previous experience in a welding or industrial environment is a plus
• Forklift license is an advantage
