About The Role
We are currently seeking to recruit on behalf of a tier 1 global transport company a skilled and reliable HC Driver who likes working autonomously based in Mackay.
  
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to secure a permanent long-term, stable career with  two global leaders.
  
Key Responsibilities
In this autonomous role, you will perform the following duties:
  
– Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to various locations including Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, and areas west of Mackay. 
– Overnight travel may be required, with accommodation provided when applicable. 
– Ensure the secure and timely delivery of packaged gas cylinders to customers. 
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service. 
– Perform pre-start checks and follow proper procedures for load restraint and vehicle securing. 
– Adhere to strict security requirements as per company guidelines.
  
Requirements
To be successful, you will possess the following skills.
  
– HC License (Essential) 
– Forklift License (Desirable) 
– Strong “Can Do” attitude with a focus on high-quality customer service. 
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
– Physically fit as some manual handling involved
– Ability to follow company policies and procedures effectively. 
– Willingness to provide a current full driving record upon request. 
– Willingness to undergo a Security Clearance and Pre-Employment Medical as part of the recruitment process.
