Location: Tullamarine, VIC
Schedule: Ongoing work | 3-5 shifts per week
Hours: 6:30am – 2:30pm
Pay Rate: $46 per hour + super

About the Role

Zoom Recruitment is seeking a reliable and safety-focused HC Yard Driver to join our client’s dynamic team at a global leader in freight and logistics in Tullamarine.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely moving trailers and trucks around the depot, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring all vehicles and equipment are correctly positioned for dispatch.

This is a hands-on role ideal for an experienced HC driver who prefers yard operations over long-haul driving.

Key Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between loading bays safely and efficiently
• Hitch and unhitch trailers as required
• Conduct pre-start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance
• Assist with yard organisation and trailer positioning
• Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Follow all site safety procedures and company policies

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HC Licence (essential)
• Yard or depot driving experience
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Additional Requirements

• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
