HR Driver – Storeperson

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Driver to join our dynamic team. As an HR Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of steel products, while supporting our mission of exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle equipped with a Truck Mounted HIAB crane, ensuring compliance with all road and safety regulations.
• Transport and deliver steel products to various locations with precision and care.
• Perform general storeperson duties, including order picking, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide excellent customer service by representing our brand positively during deliveries and interactions.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve overall logistics efficiency.
• Follow company guidelines and procedures to ensure operational safety and efficiency.

  Qualifications

• Valid HR Licence with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in operating a Truck Mounted HIAB crane.
• Strong understanding of delivery processes, particularly relating to steel products.
• Capacity to perform general storeperson duties, including order picking and providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical examination.
• Submission of a driver history report.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and diversity.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
