Labourers – Short-Term Assignment (Potential for Ongoing Work)
Location: Dry Creek, Port Adelaide & Gillman
Shifts: 12-hour shifts | Duration: 2-8 days

Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and physically fit Labourers and forklift operators for a short-term project commencing late April or early May. This hands-on role will involve loading and unloading trucks, strapping materials, and supporting site operations across multiple locations in Adelaide’s Norther suburbs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with ongoing and ad hoc work opportunities available at the conclusion of this assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting machinery operators on-site
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Strapping and unstrapping transport loads
• Counting and recording cargo
• Sorting and organising materials
• General yard hand and labouring duties
• Manual handling tasks
• Basic maintenance and housekeeping as directed
• Forklift duties if licensed
• Working at heights if licensed

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be physically fit and capable of completing 12-hour shifts in a labour-intensive environment
• Be able to pass a pre-employment functional assessment
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• FL License – Desired
• Working at Heights ticket – Desired
• Provide two recent and contactable references
• Have full Australian working rights
