Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and reliable Licensed Electrician to join a well-established business specialising in the service and repair of industrial welding equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on workshop work while assisting with onsite service jobs as required.

About the role

Working within a supportive team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Disassembling and reassembling welding machines for inspection and repair
• Cleaning and preparing welding machines for servicing
• Packing repaired equipment for return to customers
• Assisting technicians with larger onsite service and repair jobs
• Providing support with repair administration and workshop documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

To be successful, you will have:

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and police check
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• A reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current Australian driver’s licence (desirable)
