Logistics Coordinator – Laverton North, VIC

Zoom Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established operation in Laverton North, supporting domestic and international logistics and distribution activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills, an eye for detail and a passion for keeping logistics operations running smoothly.

The Role

Working closely with the Logistics Management and Operations teams, you will provide essential administrative support across transport, distribution and logistics functions, ensuring orders, documentation and reporting are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Collate and reconcile invoices, ensuring accuracy prior to approval.

Liaise with transport carriers and coordinate bookings to meet delivery requirements.

Manage orders and coordinate picking requirements with the warehouse operations team.

Assist with pallet reconciliation and liaise with pallet providers.

Support customer service enquiries, order amendments and delivery updates.

Prepare and maintain KPI reports, spreadsheets and operational data.

Coordinate import and export documentation and liaise with freight providers.

Prepare dispatch paperwork, delivery manifests and driver documentation.

Assist with distribution route planning and load consolidation.

Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Ensure all administrative processes are completed accurately and within required timeframes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in logistics, transport, warehousing or supply chain administration.

Strong administration, organisation and time management skills.

Advanced attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience using ERP systems, email platforms and Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

An analytical mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities.

A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Experience in import/export operations, distribution planning and knowledge of OHS/WHS requirements or the Australian Dangerous Goods (ADG) Code will be highly regarded.
